Ute Eberle is a science journalist who has worked in Germany, the Netherlands and the US, covering everything from using plants to solve crimes to storing electricity in the deep sea. Her work has appeared in Knowable Magazine, Science News, The Atlantic, C&EN, Spiegel and GEO. She has also won several awards, including an Eddie Award for editorial excellence, the Science Communication Award of the Acoustical Society of America, a Robert Bosch Foundation Award and the German Medical Journalists' Award.
