Europeans may soon have their own Web page rating system. The Internet Watch
Foundation (http://www. internetwatch.org.uk/) is developing a Eurocentric
scheme called Incore. The leading US scheme, from the Recreational Software
Advisory Council, covers sex, violence and bad language. Incore is more for
European bugbears such as race-hate literature. European governments will assess
it at the Global Information Networks Conference in Bonn this week
(http://www2.echo.lu/bonn/conference.html). An outline declaration is on the site.
