WOMEN who take the pill are to receive information about its health
effects in each packet. A leaflet will summarise research findings which
suggest a link with breast cancer. The research is not new and the leaflet
will emphasise that results are inconclusive. The leaflet comes a year after
the Committee on Safety of Medicines requested this information be included.
