Use a computer in another country and there is a good chance the keyboard will have some keys in the wrong position, or missing altogether. Intel has the answer with a keyboard, or cellphone keypad, that adjusts to the user (WO2004/19196). Each key has an LCD controlled by software that adjusts the layout and labelling to conform to the chosen language. Users can override the language setting to suit personal preferences. Or a program on the host device can alter the labelling to work with its particular features.
