Soon there鈥檒l be no escape from the mind-numbing banality of other people鈥檚
home movies: they鈥檒l be handed out willy-nilly at parties. Sonopress of Germany,
part of the Bertlesmann group, this week launched a DVD-compatible business card
that, when inserted in a DVD drive, can play eight minutes of video鈥攐r
even more at low quality. Says Sabine Leuerer of Sonopress: 鈥淚t will always
leave the perfect impression.鈥� She鈥檚 clearly been watching a better class of
home movies than the rest of us.
