A clock that not only tells the time but also calculates how fat you are has
been developed in Japan. When you press your finger on a pair of electrodes, the
clock’s batteries run a tiny alternating current through it to measure the
impedance of your flesh—which is roughly proportional to fat content.
Programmed with your sex, height, weight and age, the clock gives your
percentage of fat to weight ratio.
