If newspaper publishers insist on using ink that smudges and makes your hands
and clothes dirty, they should at least help you clean up afterwards, says Jerry
Iggulden. His idea is that that part of a page should be left blank and
impregnated with microcapsules of the clear solvent that’s the base for printing
ink (WO 99/67152). So if you get ink on your hands, all you have to do is tear
out the blank area and scrumple it up to use as a cleaning tissue.
