see-through refrigerator past the Japanese Patent Office (JP2032200) is
celebrating with a translation on the Internet

Bruce Lambert鈥檚 fridge has a two-way mirror
for a door. When the inside is dark, it acts as an ordinary mirror that,
according to Lambert, increases the feeling of space in the kitchen and
鈥渆ncourages dieting鈥�. When the light inside the fridge is switched on, the door
becomes transparent, letting you see the contents without wasting cooling
power.
