The common necktie is dreadfully underexploited, say Mukta and Ashok Shukla
of Woodstock, Maryland, in WO 98/49914. So they propose a range of ties
picturing an important person or event on the front, and carrying relevant
information on the rear. Such a tie, they say, would be ideal for honouring
great people such as Albert Einstein. The front of the tie could alternatively
look like that worn by Einstein in 1921 when he collected his Nobel prize, with
a biography on the back explaining the significance of the design.
