Italian designers are famous for their kitchen furniture. Now Edico of Rome
is patenting a kitchen which includes a smart TV that should make cooking a
breeze (EP 881 833). The teletext TV is fitted near the stove and contains extra
memory chips. Some of this memory stores a selection of recipes, grouped by the
time needed to make them or the type of ingredients you happen to have at hand,
while another temporarily stores teletext cookery pages. When you’ve decided
what to cook, you simply follow the instructions on the screen—so
goodbye to gravy-stained cookery books.
